The LW25-252 Self-Blast High-Voltage SF6 Circuit Breaker is designed for power systems with a rated voltage of 252kV and a rated short-circuit breaking current of up to 40kA. It incorporates the latest advancements in self-blast arc extinction technology, employing a gas-blow pressure mechanism that adapts to the breaking current. This innovation allows most of the energy required for breaking the rated short-circuit current to be derived from the arc itself, significantly reducing the operational energy demand. The operating energy is approximately 20% to 25% of that required by equivalent pneumatic circuit breakers of similar breaking capacity.
Equipped with a spring-operated mechanism that features low operational energy, high reliability, and minimal or zero maintenance requirements, each breaker utilizes a three-phase independent operation design with electrical interlocking. It complies with the GB1984 national standard and the IEC60056 international standard.
